I've just always done that and in 9+ years of having systems I've only blown 2 woofers out of the 75+ I've tested or owned. Granted that has a lot more to do with my install itself but who knows, the short break in may have played a role in it. 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride...
