Doylerules826
ok it seems since it has just began to get cold out side that if i let my car sit for a long time, the battery voltage seems to drop, i NEVER had this problem when it was warm. so my question is what effects does the weather have on a battery?? maniac74
ok it seems since it has just began to get cold out side that if i let my car sit for a long time, the battery voltage seems to drop, i NEVER had this problem when it was warm.so my question is what effects does the weather have on a battery?? if you have a older battery with weak cells the cold will definatly bring the voltage down, i had the same problem with my sierra last winter and ended up replacing the battery which solved the problem. newls1
good thread here. I just was looking at my resting voltage in my tahoe, and come to find out that there sitting at 12.3v. As bulletinjection stated, it is below freezing here, so that may have something to do with it, but I threw them on the charger @ a 2A charge for the next few hours, cant see it hurting anything.
