Ok so my grandpa bought me a second battery for my car for my system. He wants to pay for everything that i need to wire it up in the trunk as a second battery. I am trying to finds the cheapest way to do so. MY question: Can I run a wire from the front battery's positive terminal to the back battery's positive terminal and then ground the back battery's negative terminal to the chassis? im trying to avoid two runs of 0 gauge because it is expensive and im trying to save gramps some money. Im going to get the KnuKoncepts 1/0 cable and im going to do Big 3 under the hood. Do I need to but a fuse in the cable between the two batteries? Any help is greatly appreciated. He wants to get it ordered today or tomorrow btw. And you can ground to the frame, though a direct connection would be better.
