LoudBlazer Posted December 9, 2009 Report Posted December 9, 2009 Well I bought a 1998 2 door blazer from family so I decided ot lose the wall in my 4 door. Gonna do a single 18 in my 4 door powered by a AQ1200D. But here are a few pics. The new box is 7ish cubes and will be tuned to 32Hz. I know the wood isnt usual but I had it laying around. Its 3/4 flooring and its pretty solid. Just doesnt cut as smooth as mdf. I did use mdf tho. Mach5 doesn't make an 18" SPL, so that has to be an IXL... That size box + tuning sounds perfect for IXLs. When I had a pair of 12s I had them tuned to 32hz w/ a bunch of port area(like 18in^2 per ft3) and they loved it. Its the IXL 18. I wll be making 3 diffrent ports possibly 4 and will be easily switched out. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
