Amalan Posted May 19, 2007 Report Share Posted May 19, 2007 depends on alot of things. if you get 2 and your amp is only down to 1 ohm stable then 2 4ohm cvx can be wired to 1ohm to give them the most power. if your amp is only 2ohm stable then 2 2ohm would be best if you only want to do 1 then 2ohm would be the best but if you plan on getting 2 in the future then 4 would be best unless you can find an amp that will be stable at .5 ohm but a single 2ohm sub can be wired down to 1ohm and a 4ohm sub can be wired to 2ohm so if your amp is 1ohm stable go with 2ohm if my explanation is confusing then go to the rockfordfosgate website then support then woofer wiring wizard and you can check it out.
