I have been told a nice sized batt in the front, 2-4 in the rear, and a nice h/o alt. i just want to see again and refresh my mind whut i need. right now im kind of working on the batteries until i save up money for an alt. Im looking at xs batts, kinetiks, and yellow tops. 2002 Dodge durango 4.7L Autopage 2 way remote start alarm system 2 AQ 15 Aluminum coils. 1 AQ2200D (soon to be 2). 8.5 cubes tuned to 38hz. Yellow top under hood. Kinetik 1800 in rear. Big 3. (H/O Alt Soon to come) Kicker ZX200.4 Kicker 6.5 doors (blown) RF 6.5 comp set (soon to come) 1 run of Stinger 1/0 guage (soon to be 3) All of the above is all gone Currently own a 2000 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 No audio components.

jmanjr82 Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 Its really price dependant man, where you can get the most power is normally going to be the route you choose because its the most for your money. Batts you can look into is the biggest kinetik, biggest powermaster, nsb g3100s, deka 9a31s, C&D batts, Powertech batts, just tons to name man. Batteries cost more then an ALT Fyi, you can probably pick up an alt for $300-$400 1 powermaster D3100 is going to cost you that alone. Its on you though do what you want its your install, but there you have the options layed out for you. Normally matching the same type of battery is ideal as well example if you have an agm upfront go with agm in the back.

Im looking at xs batts, kinetiks, and yellow tops. A nice alt and 2 or 3 kinetik 2400 or if you go yellow tops make sure they are group 31 (commercial truck sized)

newls1 Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 yellow is a deep cycle, and the red is NOT.... personally the yellow is what I would choose, but see if the place your buying your batt sells DEKA batts. DEKA makes a killer AGM group 78DT (dual terminal) that is 135$, nearly 80$ less then a yellow top, and IMO is better.... I love my staffie So anti FACEBOOK it isn't even funny
