liftedranger08
Well me and team nemesis dj rode up to Jacobs shop last friday to do a little testing with 2 SA-8s in my ford ranger. Heres some pics of the 8s in the truck when we tested last friday. Let me know what yall think. The box was made for Jacob's jeep and is tuned to 53hz and i used my sundown 2000. There was definitely more in it if i had a box built for my raner. Here is subs forward and port to the drivers side. It did a 144.6 sealed and a 146.3 outlaw like this. Here is subs up and port to the drivers side. It did a 145.9 instead of a 145.7 in my first post. Nightshade
I know this is gonna sound weird but I would have tried the woofers firing back against the back fire wall and then had the port firing up and then flipped to have the port firing to the drivers side. I think that you'd be surprised on how well that would work. It's funny how many stupid looks I get from people when they see my setup that is woofers firing back against the hatch and ports firing up to the roof. Then when I explain to them that it's 1.2 db louder this way then woofers up and port back they just say huh. Seriously though try it and let me know if you can. I understand if you can't cause it's Jake's box and he lives pretty damn far away from you.
