ISO
So I realized the other day that I seem to be badly dehydrated. Are my only options to drink lots of water and try and down alot of gatorade. The bold stuff is where I'm at, at the moment. If the dehydration is allowed to continue unabated, when the total fluid loss reaches 5% the following effects of dehydration are normally experienced: Increased heart rate Increased respiration Decreased sweating Decreased urination Increased body temperature Extreme fatigue Kinda Muscle cramps Headaches very minor Nausea Tingling of the limbs depending on haow a arm or leg is bent. Seems to happen at a faster rate than what I feel norrmal is. When the body reaches 10% fluid loss emergency help is needed IMMEDIATELY! 10% fluid loss and above is often fatal! Symptoms of severe dehydration include: Muscle spasms Vomiting Racing pulse not often but in small phazes Shriveled skin Dim vision Painful urination Confusion Difficulty breathing depending on what ativity I'm doing. Seizures Chest and Abdominal pain All day yesterday but thought there was a chance I brought that on from an extra circular ativity. Unconciousness Yes I smoke cigaretts and know they dehydrate the system too and don't waste your time telling to quit at the moment. So is drinking water and gatorade my only options to get better as fast as possible? LOL I want to hit the Doc up for a saline bag but might not be cost effective. I'm helping cook dinner for tomorrow so I'll be in an out as far as the forum goes so might not have any quik responses. Thanks! Namosh
What caused this? I have worked construction for years and I can't count how many times I've worked out in the 100+ degree heat all day. I have never had anyone get serious dehydration. So, what I mean is it isn't easy to get dehydrated unless you are intentionally not drinking water. Or other reasons like being sick or drinking only alcohol etc. If you are dehydrated for no apparent reason, then you should probably see a doctor. Decaf
Sucrose (white table sugar), Glucose (by product of carbs breakdown) and Fructrose (from fruit) Sodium Chloride (table salt), Sodium Citrate (comes from the citric acid i think )and Mono Potassium Phosphate (P+K) CITRIC ACID (added for taste, combates sweetners) ESTER GUM, BROMINATED VEGETABLE OILS (makes it cloudy) coloring added so basically... eat fruit and grains and starches... some orange juice and a banana/strawberry... add water.... and theres ur gatorade Edited December 24, 2009 by Decaf
Airborne
DO NOT DRINK GATORADEit ONLY provides electrolytes. you need to drink water. do not drink a ton of it though, or you can flood your cells and die. ..seriously.. i've "overdosed" on water before, and its no joke None of these and you die. Drink too much water without any salt intake and you die. Gatorade can help you rehydrate, I have been pretty close to fucking my self up and a mix of oranges, salted crackers, gatorade and water had me feeling better, then the medic hit me with SALINE. Salt water and I was cool. YOU NEED SALT AND WATER
95Altima
^That The salt will keep your water intake in check, making sure you don't have too much. Quote 1 15" Planet Audio Big Bang AP30001D Sony Headunit 1/0 Wiring
