IMO no. you should be fine anywhere you get it from i would go with zzp or slp

first link will be just fine..plan on upgrading though in the future. exhaust headers plugs CAI PCM

Thing is that i dont need that air intake

i wouldent have anything on to tune that pcm

id probley have to pay again to get that exaust put in

I'd say 3.4 is as low you can go without major replacements. I'd go with a 3.4 pulley, 180* thermostat, 2 heat range colder plugs and at least 91 octane. You should be fine after that. Or if you wanna go big, go with a 3.25, 2 more heat range colder spark plugs, 3 inch downpipe, CAI, tune your PCM.

read up on how small you can go before you need to retune and other shit..( exhaust, injectors, intake, and so on).. becasue if you just throw on a smaller pulley your going to run a bit lean and thats not a good thing!

Yeah KR happens pretty easily on these motors.

I run 91+ and actually usually get 93 octane just to be sure.

Make sure your maintenance stuff is taken care of too. If it hasn't been done, you should replace the gaskets on the top end of the motor (specifically the lower intake manifold gasket). Mine is already bad at 82k but luckily it seems to be leaking externally only so I'm putting it off until it warms up.
