solosickness
Hey Everyone names Al. I work construction residentially, Have had my hands on pretty much every tool since I was 12 working with my pops, Im 20 today though. Ive always been a basshead, hell when most kids grew up hugging there teddy bears, I practically replaced mine with a woofer lol "long story"... But yeah, Im looking to get everything I can out of this woofer man. Im looking to have a bandwidth of bout 35hz-42hz. Looking for the box too be large in size, I can fit pretty much every bit of 15 cubic ft in my fuckus lol. Im planning on strapping this solo x too a fogate 40001.bd. Well when it comes too deciding spl or sq I would say starting with spl 65%/35%, not sure if that makes since but oh well . so what Im tryin to get at is, I can build just about ne thing you throw at me. Im lookin for someone who will check the specs of my sub and use the capabilities of the sub and throw them all together and come out with one bad a$$ box, with some extra effort in the design. Not sure if you or some one you know could do this for me, most charge $10-$25 bucks for this but im willin too throw someone $30-$35 for a design with the effort put in it as if it were their own. lol... Lemme know... Thanks. Boon
Im looking to have a bandwidth of bout 35hz-42hz. Let's just be clear here... the 'bandwidth' is the frequency range the enclosure will play with an acceptable variance in response. You only want your box to play from 35hz to 42hz?????? 10.x volts fo' life!
BanginOnABudget
i say do a horn enclosure. i saw 2 8"s in a horn do a 150, u should hit 155 maybe with no problem. im taking out my passenger seat, battery is disconnected, going to unwire and take out the three amps, take out the 70+ lb box, then the platform so i can crimp 1 wire. Almost as bad as those fegs that put those horns in their grills and roll down the street distorting the block.... 1990 Jeep Cherokee 2 Dr. Big-3 in 0g on Stock Alt. Pioneer 6.5" and 5.25"s temp. until i can afford the new crescendos. Pioneer 6000ub Reciever NO amps at the moment. SA-15 on 1kw coming soon. MSG Me for a free enclosure design!! Flared port kits coming soon!!
