Whats your biggest peeve that people do when it comes to car audio?

When people are disappointed I can't make their 300 dollar sub/amp/box/wire deal hit like my 2 LVL4's off ~2k rms...then they talk shit about me and about the install I did dirt cheap for them cause it wasn't as loud as they expected.

When teenagers think they know it all and are too stupid to realize that wisdom comes with age.

People that don't have a clue about distortion, staging, balance, clipping, VI limiting, or the fact that you don't get quality for nothing! There is a HUGE reason some amps cost 2 or 3 times more for the same power and that reason is the PRODUCT IS FAR SUPERIOR!

Thats why i get pissed when i tell people that you get what you pay for and they don't believe me. be my guest and buy a $50 dollar sub but don't expect it to sound like you paid anymore for it.

Guy who owns a shop by me was just a total douche, so i have a little resentment.

I came in asking about window tint, asked him what percentage he could do for me.. his answer in the most douche tone ever "state limit, no lower, 179.99 lifetime warranty" then walked away... didnt do business with him, and never will.

Another one of my pet peeve's by the way;

Kids shitty 12's shook his license plate louder than my bass from my single infinity 10 when it was in a sealed box...

He floored it, drove away like a total ass on busy streets... because his was "better" than mine.

Obviously, because everyone knows that the main point of even buying subs in the first place it to have that sexy license plate rattle. I'm surprised they don't have a special section at competions where they measure the dbs of license plate and trunk rattle. kidding guys by the way.

when kids say that the max wattage is the important thing so they buy an amp that way to big for the subwoofer.

i absolutely hate it when someone tell me that i need to get a capacitor and my electrical problems are gonna be solved, like the 2 extra batteries that i got do absolutely no good.

or when some punk kid tells me that the size of the box doesnt matter and that as long as you have a big magnet, it'll be loud as hell.

my biggest peeve though is when i see some guy or girl who just threw an amp in the trunk not even bolted down and it has some unbelievably high number on it like 2500 watts and wires that look like shit running everywhere that their system can destroy mine cause my amps are only rated at 900 watts a piece. i just look at them and tell them, "we'll see about that after you sit in the passenger seat".

when someone is like 'man i'm bangin! and my gain is only 1/4 of the way up!!' like it has so much more potential if the gained was turned *gasp* halfway!
