I would have just done a flat wall, but I wouldnt have had enough room to get sufficient port area. If you do a clamshell, Id suggest doing a vertical clamshell, because mounting a 70lb sub upside down is a 2-3 man job, and takes like 30 minutes to get 2 subs mounted. Good luck with everything.
