Team_DC-Derrick
well, if he got the ohm load down to around 2, and the volts up to about 14, i would say you would see almost 3500 rms, The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall....... Team_DC-Derrick
it does almost 3k at almost 4 ohms at 12v... why couldnt it do 3500 at 2 ohms at 14.4 ? Decaf
it does almost 3k at almost 4 ohms at 12v... why couldnt it do 3500 at 2 ohms at 14.4 ? efficiency goes down as ohm load does 4ohms vs 1 ohm could be a 20% loss in efficiency with a great amp
NDMstang65
it does almost 3k at almost 4 ohms at 12v... why couldnt it do 3500 at 2 ohms at 14.4 ? Because the power supply in the amplifier would go "OH GOD" There aren't that many amplifier manufacturers in the world...it isn't uncommon to have something like this. I've had friends to run coustic amps and blaupunkt amps in very hard core sq cars..mainly because they were as clean as the really high dollar stuff if you know what you are doing..and they were 60-80 bucks a piece.
