Soldiers Over-Reacting?

Why would i give my life to something like that. I dont want to kill people because my government says thats what we gotta do. And why do you guys keep saying you have to be in the Army/Marines to speak your mind. Thats kind of like saying you have to be blonde haird and blue eyed to vote.

And that is your choice. Question is, do you know why you have the right to make this choice?

People don't join the service to kill people because the govt tells them to. I joined for the education and to serve my country to give people the right to have freedoms, such as the right to not join, or to give an uneducated thought/guess about the military..shit so you can wake up every day to play with your car stereo. By uneducated, I mean to not have the first hand experience and throwing accusations out there.

Some times you have a better understanding for things if you have experience them at least once in your life.

No, but you need to have some perspective. You are trying to speak on something you have NO clue about. You don't know the difference between insurgent and terrorist. You don't realize the sacrifice that the American military makes to allow people like you and Michael Moore and Rush Limbaugh to be elitist assholes.

Perspective? Im sitting here defending the terrorist/extremist that fight my countries soldiers. I want the people to see sometimes that guy that just shot that bullet at you is just like you in the heart, fighting for his country. But the media doesnt tell you that, no one tells you that. They just tell you that their terrorist/extremist that want to kill you. And i dont need x amount of military training to be able to see the soldiers we fight are human-beings too.

NEVER judge the soldiers, learn that they are different, judging them is the most selfish thing a citizen can do.

heres one for you. You see an iraqi teen getting beat up in the street so you stop it. How does that kid repay you? The next day he's in a gun battle shooting at you with an automatic weapon.

That would be profiling just because he is middle eastern correct? You ASSUME he'll be shooting at you. This is something you'll never know.

Once you sign up and deploy you'll have a right to comment on how things are done over there. None of us on the other side of the camera knows if it was right or wrong what they did. If it was their commander's intent that it be done (which I'm sure got to Colonel level) then I'll be damned if it doesn't. We Marines have no choice when given an order and I'm sure it's the same in the Army.

Since when does signing up for the Military entitle you to judge whats going on over there? So if you Marines were given the order to destroy something and or someones home or engage the wrong ppl you'll do it even though you no it's wrong? The Military ain't perfect... Everyone has there fuck-ups.

Nope this guy is going to need a car their aren't any jobs so next week when one of the REAL bad guys comes along and says hey we need to fight the Americans and.
