Well anyway I play with the spl box for a few hours yesterday. :mad: No way am I going to use it. Numbers where down from where my daily box is. Guess I'll play with that alittle today. I 'll post some pics of it along with some number. Sorry I can't do any vids right not. My Camera seems to have grown legs and walked away.

some disappointing TL number. I still have put the seals in. I'm leaking from where the rear spoiler bolts on, from the hole in the rear hatch(where I removed the rear wind shield sparyer , from the sunroof (gasket out) and from the doors (no seals in). Hopefully when all thats done I'll be over 146 but thats still along way from the 150 i'm looking for.

I tried the box sub up port back, sub & port back, and sub and port up. Sub and port was the loudest. I would be very thankful for any advise anyone would like to throw my way!!!

Will not happy with my numbers :01nocomment8so: I went out and build a new box. 6 cuft net with 3 - 6" aero ports tuned to 43 hz. I hopping it will peak around 49-50 hz. Well here are some pics:

I did 45 all the corners but didn't get any pics(sorry). I 'll glass the inside & out. Well have to wake until after work.

That's really really ironic Charles. I was just going to type that specific type of enclosure up for you to build yesterday but I had to go to work and didn't get a chance to finish. I was going to tell you 6 cubes with 3 6's tuned to 44hz though.

I also reccomend that you put ports externally though. I know it will be louder that way and has helped me in the past.

The box I was going to suggest was going to be a little less wide so that the subs were right up against one another and a little deeper to compensate for that difference.

Also I planned on suggesting that you fire the woofers up and the ports to the driver's side of your car and move the box up further toward the front of the car out of the hatch some. I think that those things will help your numbers quite a bit on top of getting another saz3000.

I'd still really like to see you become a member of Team High X-Cursion and Steve is deciding as we speak about it. He said that he'd like to see you come to a show and talk to you about it there. Since that's the case there is a show in High Point on March 21st so it would be really cool if you showed up to that one.
