Team Sundown's Charles
Well with rain and snow here, I haven't gotten much done. The body kit is on and the batteries are wired up. I put a seal 3 cu. ft. box in the car and did a 20-60hz sweep to see if i can find the cars peak. With the volume on 15 out of 40 the car did 140 flat peaking at 50hz . Can anyone give me advice on what i should tune the box to. The box will be 3 cu.ft with a 6" areo port and will be power by a Sundown SAZ-3000 @ .5 ohms. Sub is a 15" nightshade. 1993 Mazda Mx-3 Subs: 2 18" DC Audio Lvl 4 D.7 Highs amp: Sundown SAX-100.4 Sub amp: Sundown SAZ-3000D Electrical:Kinetik 1200 under hood, 2-Kinetik 2400 rear All 1/0 KnuKonceptz Wire Power/Ground, Big 3, 8Ga Speaker Wire, KnuKonceptz Karma RCA's Dampening: 120sqft 80Mil Thick Sound Destroyer Mat Goal: 150 DB 149.9 Street Bass
Team Sundown's Charles
Sorry with the snow and rain I haven't got much done. I got my sub back from Jacob and my other Kinetik 2400's can in also. I'm waiting for Jacob to send my 100.4 now and then i'll have everything and i'll finish the amp rack and get it glass into the car. I have my old box in now, Its 3.5 cu. ft. tuned to 36 hz. Sound really good. I'm helping Drop Jaw Mag with a show Saturday. They are going to do a little stereo comp with my meter so I'm going to put my car in to see what it will do. Not a really show but the loudest car gets 30% of all the entry fee. So I think I have a good chance of winning . Beside I get 30% Anyway for the use of my meter . Anyway I'll get some pics up soon but here is a few pics of the sub. 7 days from the time i sent it in , Until the day i got it back. THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.......JACOB YOU ARE THE MAN Here are a few night pics Head unit & volt meter (batteries @ 13.1 with car off and the park lights on.
