Nathan @ XSpower
So, if you park in the garage and turn the system on does it count as a home theater system?
FaTbOy911
Sweet Quote Had an estimate of 6400 for an alpine/clarion setup dealer said it "should" hit around 160db with the custom boxes he was going to make for me..doubtful with so much area to move but, budget is way below that any ideas on cheaper brands for that kind of Spl setup? really didnt want to try any Boss or soundstorm, thinking Quantum figure around $150 per speaker "$1800 total" and $1700 to power it, first actual big setup for the van. Nathan @ XSpower
^^^^ nice!!! I would watch that radiator hose coming right across the D3100 though. I would recommend getting some heat shield from a auto parts store and adding it around that part of the battery. That will keep more of the heat away from the battery and help prevent swelling due to excessive heat.

Glad you guys used fedex now. Havent had any issues since.
Nathan @ XSpower
Yes, FedEx has done a much better job so far. We couldn't handle eating the cost of the damaged batteries from UPS.
ChillMasterWill
testimonial, not all batteries are created the same, as a true audiophile recognizing differences in sound, I researched batteries for about 2 months before I made my purchase, I installed an XS Power D3400 battery(Kinetik HC1400 up front) Wednesday and from driving around I can tell there's instantly more power available from this battery, I've had Interstate and Optima, most batteries are good for cranking power or deep cycle reserve switched off usage, I know that XS Power got it right when they designed these batteries for audio use, it's like nitrous for your amps and instant kick in voltage/power, my highs play louder and my bass hits harder because of the more on tap power, I've very happy w/my purchase, should've done this awhile back, just sayin...
