Decaf
i think the flame compression replaced this model i messed around with the flame compressions on ~600w rms (1000w X 2 @ 1 ohm bridged) and they sounded great on a audiobahn hc4125 but they didnt last long before the audiobahn insert came flying off then one of them blew from clipping (our fault) and incorrectly set gains (dual chambered box tho!) the other i think still works but has purble/dark dark red coils and is more a trophy of audio than a usable sub

R_Mac_1
btw, i will not run it on full power, about 600-700wrmstrying to see what my 10" audiobahn can do, but it's a D1 I don't see why you would want to wire it to .5 ohms yet want to get the power that you could get from wiring it to 2 ohms. Listen to the people and go with 2 ohms. I wish I could run mine at 2 ohms, actually. I'm running mine at 1 ohm but I think 2 ohms would be fine, and would be easier on my electrical. I already had a dual 2 sub when I bought the amp, though. I guess if I blow the sub I'll just recone it to dual 1 and be done with it.
