Boon
We were doing 145s @ 38hz from the trunk of a BMW 5 series that didn't even have foldable seats... 2 DD9510's + 6" aeroport, subs back port back on ~4kw. Now moved to 2 DD3512's subs forward ports forward sealed off with 2 4" aeroports on 2kw and it sounds about as loud. Haven't had it on the meter yet, issues with the source and the cables are all buried in the 'wall' :@ 10.x volts fo' life!

I have a 94 4 door accord with two PA fubar 12s and a PA BAMF2000.1. Subs back port back tuned at 38. Does a 143.3 on a term lab....seat not folded down, i did cut most of the package tray behind the rear seat out to let the air from the trunk in the cab. Seemed to make a huge difference. But even cheap stuff with a good box and plenty of power it can be done. 143 isnt crazy but for under $300 worth of subs and amp its not bad lol Xterra * 69 Camaro * Audi S5 36 Ford * 51 Mercury looking for wire sponsor www.flyracing.com

cdawgstalon
i would recommend doing a wall. i had my 01 deville walled with 6 12" type r's. i had about 4k watts and it got real loud, i never had it metered but tha shop that did it said it was around 150 db. might have been a little under that but i think that a wall is the best way to go in a sedan, and i did not have all the electrical upgrades to support it. currently just running a JL 12W7 and RF BD 1001 soon to come soundstream XXX 18 Memphis mojo MCD4KW Big azz box in tha backseat working out other details
