I hardly buy anything from Bestbuy anyway and the only car audio stuff I've ever bought are RCA's so I guess it doesn't matter.

why is that a disappointment? i personally like kicker subs better than RF subs, RF amps are better than kicker though, best buy should start carrying DC and FI and shit

i would go for that but i dougbt it will ever happen and again if we carry kicker it will be the low end stuff i guarantee

Sounds to me from all your posts you are an employee at bestbuy, and are afraid to admit what or what-not is going on. Kickers low end stuff is pretty good by industry standards BTW.

Ijust got back from best buy guy said they are taking kicker in and RF is going due to contract stuff but he said they are getting good set ups from kicker so not just low end stuff he said high end stuff to I asked because my truck is all kicker hehe

when people go to best buy to get a system, they usually looking to spend no more then $200

if Best buy gonna have DC, Fi,DD, Sundown and other high performance audio staff, there not gonna make any profit on it.

for example, DC lvl5 cost about $550 from Rusty, let's say they gonna get them for $500 each, then they gonna have to sell it for atleast $700-1000

I'm an installer up at Best Buy and have known this was going to happen for 1 year+ its just been a waiting game. But I just got off the phone with one of the Autotechs who was working today and he got the notice that we're going to begin carrying Kicker and Polk and discontinue Fosgate products all together... Kinda a toss-up in my opinion. Even with the discount being 5% above cost for employees I never bought anything from Best Buy other than P400.4s for the pure fact I could get them for little over $150 I think. Only reason why I'm not REALLY pissed is we never had access to Power series... But still sucks losing out on getting nice Fosgate 4Gauge complete kits for like $23 and the new RCAs for like $6.

Main thing I'm curious about is WHAT grade Kicker and Polk gear are we gonna get... Are we gonna get middle line Punch series style shit like we did from Fosgate or are we going to have full access through special order.... Also I'm sure RF was pissed at the outrageous prices BestBuy was charging... Hi2u above or at MSRP for all items.... Nothing like paying $600 in store for a P1000.1bd when you could buy it for under $350 on the net and people knew this and would just walk out...
