Full Excursion - Kingsuv's Build

Recommended Posts

Cant go wrong with a 00' Ex with a v-10. So you only have one alt? i was thinking of making a bracket for 3 alts for 4 hhca 15s

Just the stock alt on there for now.

Once I get to that bridge I will cross it. Looks to be plenty of room for 4 alts

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

Damn Bill, need to do some updating here

I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

  • 4 weeks later...

So I did some thinking out loud today. Was trying to decide what I was going to need for wire so I can order some up. But I need to decide how it is going to enter into the truck and where. 16 subs will eat up a good amount of room in the back so it will really limit on where I can put the amps. I was thinking of dividing them 4 and 4 on the front and rear of the box molded into the box. The front won't be too bad, but the rear may be a pain with the addition of the port. The other idea is to do them under the box. Not the best way to show them off but I was thinking about a pull out tray for the 4 in the rear.

8 HF-2500.1 really don't take up too much room once I laid them out.

At any rate, it's a good amount of wire from the alts to the battery racks and then to the amps. The trick will be figuring out how to feed all 8 amps from the batteries under the truck along the frame rails.

Why not stack them verticaly back to back like this, but angle them so if you looking down on them they are like this form a V at like 30 degrees.
