gi joey
My Viper 5701 wont respond back to the 2 way fob. I have tried disconnecting the vehilce bat, pulling the 15 amp fuse, all 3 30 amps, tried a new antenna cable and antenna, tried using a 10k ohm resistor wired within an inch or 2 from the brain on the blue antenna wire, deleting the remotes, relearning them. Still nothing. All the functions of the remote work just fine as a 1 way but I get the out of range error tone and flashes. What to try now? Maxim
Did you try putting new batteries in the remote? wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . I was hoping she would let me put it in her butt
gi joey
Did you try putting new batteries in the remote? Its a new system. Just installed on sunday. So less than a week. Plus the range is pretty freakin far. I started the truck from 1/8th mile away inside a brick building. I put the bats from my wifes remote in and no luck either. But she had 1 large 3 volt and mine has 2 smaller 3v. Not sure if that makes a dif. gi joey
how many topics you gonna keep making about this ? I moved this here after i noticed i was still in the general AUDIO section. Which was my fault so I moved it here. I know when I am looking to help someone out the I prefer for it to be in the right section. Plus I figured there are some people out there that live in certain sections, Like some only liik at the interiors or wheels or whatever. Might be some actual techs that migh only lok in the proper sections. huh?do-what?
Did you try putting new batteries in the remote? i would definitely try the 2 3 volt batteries. It is a 2 way remote and would use more voltage to transmit ( I am assuming). Good luck. God damn its hot today. My balls are stuck to my leg. gi joey
We have doublechecked install. All wires soldered and insulated. Even insulated the fuses to prevent any type of arc and to secure them in. The problem is the 2 way feature only. This is a common problem with these alarms but the common fixes arent working. I am going to assume that the problem is the actual remote. The 1 way is perfect and this alarm is great as a 1 way except the annoying communication failure it sends back.
