got some more pics but i have a major problem... well now i knew the one 2000.1 was missed up so thats ok, now the other one i knew was fine i was using it and everything. now all i did was put it back there and wire it up now im not getting shit for power out of it and the subs barly moving and i have it all hooked up right just like i have had it before. does anyone have any ideas to why its doing this :angry:

Well now somethings really missed up got a dmm and it read 2.1 when there d2 and the coils are wired down to 1 ohm sounds like a coil fell off somewhere right??? Nope went through and totaly rewired the sub and speaker wire and sill nope. And on the way to school I had it up a lil and blam totaly stoped working now that could of been the turn on wire cuz later on it worked i turned it up really quick an boom the totaly stopes again. Anyone got any ideas???

Did you check each coil of each sub with a dmm for proper resistance?

Do you have a relay for your amps remote wire. Thats a lot of amps to run with a H/U remote wire.

And where the F are your volt meters? I think anyone without them shouldn't touch an ampilfier over 500watts. Voltage is kinda important believe it or not, and wire your volt meters at the amps so you know what they are seeing, not at the batts.

yeah i dont have a dmm my friend does. imma pick up one soon.

and no i dont but theres only the one 2000 to the remote wire and ive never had a problem in the truck off that same hu turning on all 3 amps

Well I took the one sub out and one coil read 2.2 the other nothing at all. So now I got the other xl in there but the coils are both 2.2 but there's this funny noise like the dustcover is loose but it's not.

yeah i know. im still decideing if im going to send them to get reconed or try myself. and im thinking about building my own woffa! that can take 4000rms d1 so anyone got any ideas on what i should use? my one friends gf knows how to lay carbon fiber so i think thats what im going to make my cone out of. i just need the coil and if i need a new motor. but im going to need help, anyone know what im going to need?

and yes its the stock alt but imma change it soon thow.

Your probably going to peak between 47-50hz in your Explorer. Mine peaked at 48hz which I believe is the resonant frequency of most Explorers.
