thuase Posted February 5, 2010 Report Share Posted February 5, 2010 Right now i'm running on an SAE-1200D and these puny little 12" subs and I thought it would be a good time to upgrade =] I just wanted some opinions on which would work better, since im not sure if the 1200D will satisfy an XL. what do you think? clouduz Posted February 5, 2010 Report Share Posted February 5, 2010 Well it depends, you have to look at 2 things. 1. XL has a bigger motor ( more performance) 2. Can handle more power in case you ever want to get a bigger amp instead of another sub. Personally I would do the XL I currently have a 15XL and LOVE it! I don't know if an underpowered XL would give me the same results as an over powered 4. I know the SAE-1200D is underrated just as these subs are.
