Thank you! Go right ahead, the same way most forum members like to try their own hand at box/system design I feel like this is just another part I can work on. If it'll help you any I'll happily post some pics showing some of the work on how to get here. It helped me a lot to take a small square of plexi and cut a ~6" diameter hole with bolt locations. Then I traced the outline of an alt on it and used it to determine spacing, and trace the lines to cut.

You know the saying go big or go home. If I did big rims I'd do at least 26s, but I really don't care that much. I haven't washed my car in like 2 months with as muddy as it's been, and my wifes parents live on a dirt road. It would chap my ass to dump thousands into rims then hit one of the numerous potholes on the way to my in-laws and get them dirty, scratched, or worse. Now my truck lifted with huge mud tires would never look out of place covered in filth

No pics or anything- I'm going to hopefully get some spacers made tomorrow and test things out if it isn't too cold. It would be great to have this machined out and running before the end of next week.

Bought a piece of 1" nylon rod. It's good for making spacers because it doesn't split like plastic or wood might. Easier to get exact sizes than stacking washers and less hassle than metal.

I think 1/2" is too much and will cause some belt rub from where it would go down to the factory idler pulley. I'll probably try 3/8" with a 3/8" back plate bracing.

I talked to a place today that I'll probably have help out with the auto-cad and cnc work. I was just going to get things machined but I'm thinking if it's worth doing it's worth doing right.

Thanks. I hoped to finalize the bracket this weekend but things didn't work out. Also I need 3 10 1.5 140-150mm metric bolts to hold it in place. The only place to get them is Fastenall and they're closed on the weekend. Hopefully sometime this week I'll get it finished and ready for CNC.

After some use I'll say 1 Iraggi alt does similar to my factory alternator at idle, but much better at highway speed. I really need to clamp it to get good numbers, I'm just speaking from a voltage standpoint.
