EricR
good to see these are getting all the attention i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work? tejcurrent
I wasn't able to get to the store today, so no wood. Definitely buying it first thing in the morning though, I worked on final box plans too. Bars for fusing are drilled out but still need threaded, thats such a pain staking task by hand! The copper gums up the tap to so much it takes 5-10 minutes per hole, just 35 more to go lol. Drilled bars: Let me explain that this is my daily box, not really best for competition. I'm having to build this box to accommodate hauling groceries, baby stuff, and I wanted the port big enough to fit a stroller in. Box dimensions are 49w x 23h x 37d, double baffled. There's a battery notch that takes up about 1.9ft net, I'm using a slot port 22Wx10Hx13L. Basically before bracing I have 15.36 net, I'm keeping bracing to a minimum till I test things out, but I'm using threaded rod so I expect to be pretty dead on with 15 ft. I'm making a cut sheet up tonight so I can get things rolling quickly tomorrow. tejcurrent XS Power T3
