310_cutty
i guess the new apple iphone update is available now (3.1.3) ....my phone is jailbroken, if i update will i lose all the stuff i did? Can i re-jailbreak after the update? I was told by the guy that jailbroke my phone that you can brick your phone by using Itunes to do it.... If it works, you are gonna have to jailbreak it again and lose all your apps and personal stuff. Gq85
If you update you will lose your jailbreak. As of now they haven't found an official jailbreak for 3.1.3, I have heard a few people have been able to jailbreak 3.1.3 with older jailbreak software on certain devices though. mhuck123
You can always restore your phone even if you brick it so it's not a big deal. I would wait until the official Jailbreak for the new software though otherwise you might have to go a week or more without your "software". Quote Starting From Scratch!! Apple blacklisted 3.1.2 so you can't restore to it if you use iTunes. You have to update to 3.1.3. Dammit apple.
