Power Acoustik BAMF series?

I've been looking at the bamf series amps for a minute and I dunno yet if they look like they'd do the job.

BAMF 4000/1D

BAMF 1600/4

Has anyone had any experience with these or PA gear in general?

I like em because they put out crazy wattage for not much moolah and look nice doing it. But I'm still iffy on em.

=\

if you like the smell of fried amps then go for it, but dont go looking for anything near rated power with a PA amp way overrated and overpriced IMHO

The thing is, I've never heard of Audioque.... Like ever.

Or Audiopipe for that matter.

I always hear people going ZOMG SUNDOWN/AQ/AUDIOPIPE!! and I've never heard of or seen anything from these companies and I've been around this for a minute or two.

Fanciest shit I've ever seen at a show or comp are DDs.

First I learn about these other brands is since I've been here and now they're coming out the woodworks.

That's why I've always ran MTX gear, I know it's all good shit but for some reason MTX just tripled their prices on all their gear.

Year and a half ago I bought both my 8500s and a 4501 for $600 now just a single 8500 is $600.

Man, honestly, don't even mess with them. I hate my PA amp like no other. They claim 1700 on mine but I have never seen more than 1100 off it. I've heard decent things about their subs, but I have never heard anything good about their amps. And if you do get it, if you run it at 1 ohm, be prepared for it to cut off every 20-30 minutes from overheating on those hot days.

THIS THREAD IS GOING TO BE SO EPIC....i cant wait

ill leave and check it tomorrow when someone is crying, someone else is banned and thread is locked...
