Okay what has been your drug of choice?

I have used all sizes, in single woofer setups and multiple setups. just depended on what I was doing. And all were perfect for me at the time I used them.

It really depends on taste, goals, vehicle environment, budget, knowledge.

The question should be "what is the woofer setup for YOU?" because based on the variables, you will get so many different answers as you can already see in this thread.

because to be completely honest with you i hate people who give advice when they have no clue what there talking about

okay let me simplify this for YOU, I have each of the sizes listed of your all time favorite model of subwoofer and they are there for the choosing which size would you use if you could only choose one size

haha, honestly, it would still depend on what car I had.

And truthfully, my brother would pick a different size, and my friend would pick a different size. They both have different types of cars and different tastes.

What I am getting at is that all size woofers of similar build and design, could be made to perform the same. Given the proper enclosure design and vehicle that suits them best, each size could have the same SQ and same SPL.
