dwright27
If u really wanna go all out with the SPL side in the Rex, then I'd suggest making sum tubes for the woofers.. You'll see most of the loudest CRXs(also similar lower SPL class vehicles worldwide) around using the tubes now and are extremely successful doing so. was gonna suggest this. but i wonder why no oneuses these for musical beasts 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L. The m3 is rated at 600 rms at 4 ohm.
steven
For everyone making suggestions this build was just thrown together in a weekend to prepare for a show on the 21st. OK you are right... i was up late and had a brain fart... two seater, so yes cargo area...and very obvious...sorry as far as power class reason i said 2 ohm is because on digital designs website the specifications do not show 4 ohm power, only 1 and 2ohm, but still very weird that the amp would MORE THAN DOUBLE power from 4 ohm to 2 ohm going from 600wrms to 1365Wrms at 2ohm i haven't heard of an amp doing this before, ESPECIALLY when you stop to consider that even near double power again to 1 ohm doing only 2400W continuous?????? 600w----4 ohm 1365w--2 ohm 2400w--1 ohm <<<<that part just didn't add up to me, but if you are 100% thats cool 1996 GMC YUKON 2dr Eclipse cd5000 six- Soundstream T5 12's in 13^ft tuned to 30.4hz,43.04hz, and 53.53hz soundoff 149.8 on TL in kick,150.0 SEALED in kick 147.8 SB4 3 RF T5002's--------------going to 3 Soundstream DTR1.3400D's two- Stinger sp1000's----going to two- BATCAP 4000's 2 140 amp alternators---going to 300amp Ohio Generator 2 runs 1/0ga, big 3-------going to 4 runs 1/0g + and 3 runs 1/0g - MB Quart QSD 6.5's in doors---soon to come my build log HERE!!!! check it out! There are some bad amps whom have crazy low 4 ohm ratings look at sundown 4500 its rated a 900 watts at 4 ohm then 2000 at 2 ohm. Some of the American bass amps are the same way. jmanjr82
Im not going to say 15s wont work, but the most success has been with alot of smaller woofers like say 6-10s
