If I recall correctly the loudest CRX on the planet runs 4 12's. But there's some pretty damn loud ones running 2 10's 10.x volts fo' life! B Slaps Posted February 21, 2010 Report Share Posted February 21, 2010 its nice seeing a CRX that isnt a one note wonder looks loud edit read tuned to 57 hz BOOOO if you tune a crx low . you will do nothing for numbers and get laughed at. dosent mean my rex tuned at 55 hzs with music boxes wouldnt play 40 hzs music. If u really wanna go all out with the SPL side in the Rex, then I'd suggest making sum tubes for the woofers.. You'll see most of the loudest CRXs(also similar lower SPL class vehicles worldwide) around using the tubes now and are extremely successful doing so. this is true. i have said tubes at my house. because to tune lower youd need like 8ft of pipe you can hang it out the back like a rocket. thatll sure impress someone right? Once I started turning it up a relay under my dash which was hanging loose rattled apart causing the car to die which sucked so I got to a 151.6 so it was whatever.
