whats the best set up for 15's in a ported box?

im doing an audio project for my senior project

the box and everything is going into a 1997 ford expedition

I think subs up, port facing hatch is the best since that's what most ppl do...but if you have 2 subs then subs & port facing hatch works well too

if your talking about building a box, i would have the subs up and the port facing the back or just wall it off.... :hairtrick:

There is no "best" amp & sub combo...its entirely opinion

The best amp and sub combo is an amp that has enough power to give to the subs its powering with the gain set correctly

These threads should start being closed IMO

well i didnt know shoot give me a break im new to this stuff i thought there was such thing as a sub and amp combo. i heard it isnt good to mix manufactures (example JL subs with a sony amp) i dont mean to like be a bug with this post. just wanting to know what everyone else thought or some help maybe. but ok...
