Nirvalica
I would say look at Hifonics. I don't think you can get much better for the watts/dollar ratio. My Youtube Page. Gutta Trash
Hifonics would be a choice but I dont see them being a better brand than MB Quart.....but I could be wrong if I knew I wouldn.t be asking On 4/20/2010 at 10:06 PM, 'cc_audio' said: Guys are just like girls, once you've had 18 inches you don't go back. 2004 GMC Yukon XL Pioneer AVH-X4700BS 13 band EQ Sub Amp- (2) PPI 5000BD.1 (2) Re SXX 15's 8 cu. ft. box tuned to 32 Hz (4) 6.5 Bose Mids (2) 1" Bose Tweets (2) 1.5" Bose Tweets (1) JY 80 AH w/ new JY busses (1) Duracell 750 up front Apex Alternators 270 A.C. dwright27
Reading > you To the OP, I would personally go with the MB Quart. I do not have any experience with either of them but from what I have seen and heard the discus amps are solid amps. i think for once i agree with you bro. the discus amps are a very solid product. guy over on ca.com did a clamp test i think this is the same amp. Just clamped my dsc 2000 after finishing my big 3. Today at work I realized I never upgraded the ground from batt to block. Major difference. Before I could pull it down to 12 now it stays at 13.50hz sine wave ( most meters are only accurate at 50 and 60hz AC) Craftsman clamp meter 13v input 70v max output Id say 60v before clipping 25 amps =1750 watts @ 2.8 ohms - warm coils. Amp running pretty cold after an hour of beating it. Update tomorrow on cold coils (wired @ 1 ohm). I dont get why my clamp tests always have so much rise on any setup. Say if I did get down to 1 ohm or even 1.5 does this mean I could get 3k out of this amp? Or does it mean if you wire to .5 and rise to 1.5 it will run really hot? Real impedance when putting out power/ subs playing is totally different than cold coils not moving I guess. heres the link http://www.caraudio.com/forum/amplifiers/465802-dsc-2000-clamp-test.html 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L.
