Symmetry9898 Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 I have been watching alot of steves videos and i was wanting to know how the hell he keeps those A pillars stationary when he is beating up the block? I was looking at my pillars that have no glass, no components and they look like they could move a bit. I didnt know if there was some sort special fastener that he used to secure them. Any info on the topic is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys... thehoe92 Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 there are two plastic tabs on the part of the a-pillar that is flush with the dash there is also a plastic pin in the groove of the a-pillar towards the top that gets pushed into a metal holder in the a-pillar on the car the plastic pin gets worn down every time you take them out so steve's are magical if he has them still staying on just that Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
Dak446 Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 Mine are much heavier than Steve's (1 6.5 and 4 tweets on each) and they are pretty stationary. THe metal clips are solid (even though i used some epoxy to uber-secure the clips to the plastic)
