General
Erhmmm, What's all that weird positive words about this 'octo-port'? Don't you know corners (8x) have a negative influence on the airflow? In my (humble) opinion this 'octo' thing is just a cheap way to create a big port. (just add 8 pieces of wood to eachother and... voila you got yourselves a port) So... the idea is good (and allready proven) but with more roundning it would be much better. And, hairtricks have NOTHING to do with the 150dB limit. I know installations that can do this trick with 145dB... and installs that CAN'T do this trick dispite they play well over 155+ ______Some people and performances are beyond words______ Chairman of the foundation "Propper-Droppers Holland" 2012 Founder of the European delegation of `Propper-Droppers' 2011 Dutch Champion EMMA SQ MultiMedia advanced 2010 European Champion EMMA SQ experienced 5 channel 2007 Dutch Champion EMMA SQ experienced 5 channel 2007 BeNeLux vice Champion dB-drag street-A 2007 Dutch vice Champion dB-drag ministreet-sedan 2004 _________________________________________ Propper Droppers is about deep, ground wobbling, elephant-and-whale stimulating Street Bass. meade916
no one called anyone a liar and i already said that. Im just saying that mic isnt a TL so it doesnt count. You say its within 2db of a TL. I have never in my life heard someone say anything BUT that. No matter what brand it is, everyone says their meter is within "1db of the TL". If i came here on my own site and showed everyone i did a 165 on some strange meter, people would question me too. the only way to settle this is to drop that same setup back in and call your good friend the head dbdrag judge....find out when the next show is, and get on the TL. If you cant do that, i understand.....i guess we will never know then. anyway, settle down, im not dissing my man Exo. I am simply calling it like i see it. Talk about defensive - BTW: if that thing can really do those numbers you should take it directly to the next show and clean house.....that would be one of the loudest single sub, single amp, single battery caravans on the planet. i gotta question, if your such a seasoned DB vet, why does someone else build your boxes? Just a question, dont get all defensive......ive just never seen someone so dedicated to SPL have somoene else build there shit. Not me. 150 and up is where the hairtricks start happening and i dont think i have ever seen someone that can do a 155 not be able to......unless it was a 65hz rex tuned for SPL or something. Its the other way around ive seen cars that DO hairtricks that dont have the number but never the number without the hairtrick. anyway, you go build that wall Exo and best of luck with it.
