i have a bxi 2610 which i want to run at 1 ohm.

battery will be a kinetik hc 2400. i just have stock alt as theres no bigger one for my car.

im looking for a very strong setup that can hit the low lows pretty good. i thought of running two 15 l7 in a 12 cft ported enclosure or 1 18 btl in 10 cft ported.

the parameters say that the l7s will hit lower notes better than the btl.

so i sum up the conditions:

- bxi 2610 @ 1 ohm

- looking for very deep and loud bass

- 2 15 l7 or 1 18 btl

as i say in like 90% of these threads, its impossible to tell you which one is louder. but the L7's have more cone area than the 18 so go with those

The L7's are going to give you substantially more cone area, so between those two options I would choose the L7's.

what kind of car are you driving.

i drive an opel astra. 60A is the biggest alt available

the fs of the btl is 31 hz whereas the l7s fs is around 26 hz.

ill probably go with the l7s.

Id get a btl and then add another one down the road. You cant compare 2 15's to 1 18. But 2 btls would kill the L7s though

Try 2 ssa xcon : even 2 12"s. They play the low notes so well, not just hitting them. And they get so loud.

You seem to have room for them.

for a 15" L7 your looking at 1000 rms, 2000 max. i love my pair. like nothing ive ever heard. but im really looking into some BTLs at some point. im running my pair in a box thats ~10 cu ft and its really loud and gets pretty low. i need a bigger amp though. the zx1500.1 pounds them but id like to double that.

why not do two 15" btls?
