The Saturn: Death-Horn Build/Addition

Recommended Posts

Dang that looks sweet man :P Goood work

I was just wondering.. i know people wont make too much a fuss at reg shows etc, but at finals, if you go, wont this horn be a small issue? I get the port stops at b-pillar, but it is tech connected to the "new roof" up front.

like i said im jw just for the sake of wondering, because people might be cool at reg shows but at finals youd think they pull out anything to get rid of competition

anyway, good stuff man

Thanks. And that's the beauty of competing in bassrace and extreme only ;) lol. ever since I had metal welded into my roof near the sunroof I can only compete in bassrace and extreme...so I can do pretty much whatever I want lol.

And today I got cloth stapled-up to the supports and installed my crossfire 1k to have a little bass back (the goliath's gone). Ofcourse I forgot my camera today but will have pics tomorrow...the little amp looks so cute back there lol and no voltage drop at all.

So how does this horn work exactly?

Its still a ported box but with a huge flare on the port leading/funneling upto the b-pillar...and it'll add a good chunk onto the effective port length so the tuning will drop a bit to around 28hz im predicting after the 10's go in (theyll take up more airspace than the 18s, before the 10s the tuning should be closer to 27hz lol)

And im in extreme because i have modifications infront of the b-pillar...people with fiberglassed door panels are technically in extreme...
