kenwoods are pretty nice ,i have a JVC vario color, i like it personaly, can change the colors, make your own, yadaydayda, but it sounds very nice was only around $100, alpines are extreamly nice anywhere from 100-400$, and the the subs and such, that is a REDICULOUSLY good deal

Why would you EVER WANT flex?
huh?...flex is what can make the lows lower and more air being pushed correct?

the mentioned kenwood and pioneer have very similar specs, but the kenwoods display is Much better. it actually has a resolution/pixels rather than and old calculator style display :)

i can upload a photo screen saver into mine...

The only warning I have with getting a head unit, I have an 06 silverado and When I got my 180$ kenwood unit I had to buy the special wire harness that included the door chime and stuff and that harness was another 115 i believe. Im guessing you can find it cheaper but I was impatient and when best buy told me i needed that I just said screw it give it to me, but keep in mind whatever HU you pick out may become around 100$ more expensive.
