try and reline the spider up as good as possible and check for coil rub before you glue it..

you could try and pop the duscap off and recenter it.

most likely if you try to reglue it, it wont be aligned right and will rub. you may get lucky and itll work perfectly.

if you dont think itll work out just send it in for a recone

Well the sub is brand new, this wouldnt be covered? isnt it a mechanical failure/ im not buying a recone for a $134 subwoofer lol but I also don't want to waste my warranty by trying to repair it, but I guess I'll just have to try

ask them if its covered. if it is send it in. if it isnt try to carefully repair it. if that doesnt work then just buy a new sub man.

I had two do the same thing but it was ALL my fault.

I had one do this:

And one did this:

I used the CA Glue in the link. I just cleaned the debris from the gap and lined them up as best as I could. No issues since. Worth a try.

I wouldnt mind buying a new subwoofer if I was made of money... this thing is 1 week old wtf? and it wasnt even my fault at all so yeah this is bs if they dont cover it.

What do you guys mean by lining them up? dont I just put glue on the spider ring and hold it down onto the gasket? what do you mean by lining it up

i have a Fi I know what sjunk or not lol , this subwoofer is fine other than the spyder maybe it was getting too much excursion i dunno... point is, i need to fix it not know why it happened lol

If you can't get it warranted, carefully cut the dustcap off and shim it up with some cardstock from the inside before glueing
