PaulO2288 Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 I have the Apline 9886 Headunit and I had an 80G ipod until it broke when I was tboned in a car accident. So I had bought the Ipod Nano 8G now. The headunit has the ipod connector that hooks up through the bottom and also charges it. I cant get it to charge my new Nano or my buddies ipod touch though. It says it does not charge with this accessory. I dont know what to do to get it back to chargeing

The newer iPods don't support charging over Firewire like the older generations, my 9887 uses firewire and I can't charge newer iPods with it.
