6 Crossfire 18s Hummer RE-RE-RE-RE-BUILD

I'm at the beach so I don't wanna go and keep arguing all your points about things you don't know about. Just a few.

I did use acrylic weld epoxy on the plex.

I did not screw the amps with drywall screws, actually used RF screws.

Amp panels are not sagging, thats how they line up.

I did not mount the batteries and agree the welds weren't the best.

Truck is still not finished and exposed wires are getting panels made now.

And your bs about your woofer designs from industrial apps is crap. Any woofer, any at all will have a hard time with 6k daily. The smd is a good woofer but certainly not indestructible and a couple woofers are built to handle more. But even they still blow in the perfect application.

So blah.

Wow...But then I cant blame you entirely for thinking that way. I didn't know you designed subs, built and engineered them. I understand your a part of T3 Audio, so at this point I can only take your comments and derogatively as its brand on brand favoritism. If T3 adopted similar topologies I wonder if you would still be so quick to judge the SMDs abilities as your playing them down. Correct, everything can be broken. But this is NOT failure due to a manufacture or design error, its USER error.

I hope Trippi gets it sorted, looking and running faultlessly.. I almost wish I lived there and was able to take on a build like it.. That bish would be walled and no other way, sorry!

EXACTLY!!!!! I refuse to believe that there isn't room to wall 6 18's in an H2, especially when you have room to put them in a normal ported enclosure. It wouldn't have been a flat wall, but there's more than enough room to do a clamshell...not trying to be a monday morning quarterback, just making a statement.

You said you were up for good advice. You got it. Don't leave the door open next time and expect to not get caught with your pants down.

Also, the "Woofer designs" from industrial applications is very real. The technology is very real. Who ever said I was using anything remotely close to what is being used in the car audio market? I definitely didn't...

Nope...it wouldn't hold up to the environment in which it is used in the way you see it. "Surround material" wouldn't hold up, nor would the cone body...nor would the CA glue. I do know it is really hard for you to think outside of the box, but what I do is very..very..very real. The industrial stuff is so far off in left field that you couldn't even comprehend it. You still don't understand something you've had in your own hands.

Is the supergauss motor technology similar in respect to that?

Could I make something soak up / handle "20kW" for "car audio"? Sure...show me the money, I'll make the time. I don't work cheap though...we can talk when you've got $250,000 on the table.

its not worthless.. atleast from Ndmstangs standpoint. but what I took from his post was there is something wrong with the setup and it should be looked at..

and both ed and trippi asked for criticism

Just a quick question, You say handle 20kW for car audio. Now do you mean for extended periods of time (ie; longer than a 3 second burp)? Or just a burp?

Theres already subs that handle that much for bursts. Thats scary to think about for daily. Im sure it would be able to heat my bedroom (at a loud cost).
