I plan on running 2 15" DC level 4 XL's and running them on around 4500 rms. What will I need as far as electrical. Also is there anything special I need to do to run this much power. I do know the basics but I don't know everything, thats why i'm here lol.

Start of what I need

Radio

EQ? not sure yet

2 DC Level 4 XL 15s

Stetsom or AudioQue amp

Big 3 in 1/0

1/0 wire

HO alternator, what size?

Battery bank

What else?

Thanks in advance. :drinks:

Not sure on that part but I doubt you will need any processors for your bass stuff maybe for mids and highs but again I don't know for sure.

A few batts wouldn't hurt either.

^^^ x2 But if you can't afford an oscope (like me) maybe find a shop that uses them in your area or another member of SMD that has one and can help you.

I can use a DMM right?

You can, but that can result in clipping the amp, if the DMM is perfectly accurate i shouldn't.

But with a Oscope you can make sure their is no clipping.

And what amp are you going to use?

Thinking is the root of all problems...

You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
