imupabove Posted April 13, 2010 Report Share Posted April 13, 2010 CCA (copper clad aluminum) worth getting? its pretty cheap. i can get 20 feet for about $40 for 0 gauge. im planning to use it on the big 3 and 1 run from the battery to the amps. and plus im low on money right now. i mean what would be the major differences with 100% copper/high quality wire and CCA wire? thank you. I recommend saving for 20ft of knu fleks. Its fairly cheap and great wire. The 2 amps you're running aren't gonna pull that many amps, so the CCA knu wire is great for your application, but If you plan on upgrading soon I would get the OFC knu fleks because its rated at 300+ amps. edit: with good voltage that amp is doing more than rated.
