Biggest concern with AQ and Sundown it´s that they don´t make big amps, 4500D it´s the biggest and i want a single amp for my subs, if you´re asking yourself why i need a big one and not a 4K or something, it´s because i have a small internal space and big port for spl,bass race and daily also, i need a lot of power because of that, at least 6K or 7K, 2 sundowns 3500D strapped to 0.5 ohms for daily?? mmm i don´t have the current for that, i can´t have a 0.5 ohms load for daily I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. Not calling you out or anything, just want to know what issues people have with them. I still haven't been able to work it out from the various forums, most of them just turn to shit-flinging. Honestly I've seen way too many cases of "Stetsom said don't run this amp at 0.5 ohms and 16v but I did anyway and it blew up, such shit amps, blah blah" 10.x volts fo' life! m_montero2003 Posted April 18, 2010 Report Share Posted April 18, 2010 I'll like to know that 2, I have been running a Stetsom 5K2D in a daily vehicle and the only problem that I have with it, was a transistor or something like that, that it was damage since I got the amp and the amp still make some power with that bad part in it, plus I wasn't the original buyer and Steve let me send it to repair and transfer me the rest of the warranty. I use a few amps, RF T3000bd, Orion 2500d, JL 1000, Ect and so far the Stetsom has work like the others, if not better. Can you elaborate, please?
