albert23
ive heard of people putting tint over the factory tint but i dont know if its the right way.if your try to put the same tint all the way around i would take off the factory tint first and then put the new tint on. HK-DEMON-
I can say yes you can, i did this to my 2001 chevy tahoe who has factory tint on it, the aftermarket tint over the factory tint makes it look way darker. Quote Calguns.Net
cqtama
you can but it will make it darker. most factory tint is around 20% so if you do 20 over that it will make them around 10% but it depends on the vehicle and darkness of the tint. to answer your question yes tyou can. but it will be much darker Quote R.I.P '01 blazer you treated my ears well until your transmission blew up. zachfowler222
factory tint is inside the window, they heat up the glass and shoot a dye inside it with a needle. i always thought it was outside the window until i started working at a tint shop. ANY tint you can peel off is aftermarket, you can put it over the aftermarket tint if you wanted tho. Quote I SCAM PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY... AVOID ME LIKE I AM AN AIDS INFECTED RETARD... Mr. Darkjustice
hey everybody can you put aftermarket tint of the factory window tint that come on my car or do i need to remove the factory tint first?? well every car comes with factory tint. if you have an suv however and you add to the back window tint itll make it look ALOT darker than you may want. you should do it over the factory tint though cause from what ive heard its alot easier to do if the tint is suv dark Quote Fusion With A Stetsom 4k2d on 2 DC XL 15s tuned to 31hz and Subs and ports forward The Revolution Was Not Televised But There Is This Thread(clicky) Dr Merkenstein is my 360 gamertag and my profession. It's just glass and tint goes right on but it will be darker with the tint and factory glass.
