12'' sub that can take 3k daily?

Recommended Posts

but how much do money is it for each? and im running 2 rf t2500.1bds yes its clean and my re mx 12'' subs arent taking it well thats why i wanna upgrade.

The 15s were 750. Youll have to look for the older versions of the Axis's now, the newer ones are only rated 1000rms.

there is a guy selling 3 of the 12's on caco for 625 each. which is retarded because he bought them when they were on sale for 300. so if you wanted them you could try talking him down on the price.

Is it a little bigger?

That shouldnt effect power handling.

Same soft parts and coil as a lvl 5. Just less motor force. Perhaps the motor has different cooling though.

the lvl 4 has a 28lb motor structure and XL has a 50lb structure. 56% more motor so quite a bit more motor force than the lvl 4

well the aa mayhems and the dc lvl 5 are a bit outta what i wanna spend unless i can sell my re mx's for about 800 as a package deal. both of them for 800 is what im asking which is a great price being that 1 is like 500 if you can even find em on ebay. Im really interested in the orion for a trade but if im going to be buying subs ill prolly go with the guy ive been talkin to. And if 6-8^ft is good for 2 15'' subs then itll be alot easier to find em.

those would be one hell of a sub man i know that but im spending too much on the alt to go for that price. i wish i could but i want a warranty on the subs i get. im not buyin used for that kind of money and with the wattage im throwing at them. i do have to say i think the lms ultras are prolly the best subs made though. there are ones that can handle more power but those can slam like ive never seen. those smd AA subs are about as close as you can get to em i think.

No.

From the DC website

This sub was developed out of demand.

We were getting a lot of requests for something bigger than the LV4 but doesn't kill the gas mileage like the LV5 8O+ lbs subs. We were moving a lot of hybrid subs that used LV4 motors with LV5 coils but we knew we could do better than that.

So we thought, everyone likes the LV5, It’s a fantastic sub... Lets use it as the platform for an in-between sub. We played around with a smaller version of the LV5 - That’s exactly what the XL is... It uses all of the same soft parts of the LV5 with a smaller version of the same motor. Just small enough to squeeze through the cut-out hole for a 10" driver. What was the end result? A great sounding high powered daily driver sub that can be used in or out of the competitive lanes. The XL has devastating lows and reliability. It quickly became our best selling sub!
