Alexdb7 Posted April 22, 2010 Report Share Posted April 22, 2010 Okay so i for sure didnt have enough power getting to my amps so i figured i for sure just clipped it to hell. it was really bad rub to the point the sub stuck wherever you moved the cone to. also its a d4 and one coil read 2 and another 8. i figure, its blown for sure. i tear it all off to prep for the recone and the "poll" i think its called??? When the pole is bent, or magnet slugs are shifted, it usually screams that it was dropped. Has nothing to do with under powering the driver.
