Alright so I plan on buying a 15" Fi BL and I have the option of dual 1 ohm or dual 2 ohm

and I'm not sure which one to pick, like if I were to pick a dual 1 ohm setup, what type of

amp would I run with that? Same with the dual 2 ohm. Sorry for being complete noob

but I'm still learning stuff and if anyone could give me a brief explanation I'd appreciate it.

Oh and I guess I might as well ask what type of amp would you guys recommend, I'm looking to run

it at about 1000-1200watts since I'm running stock electrical. Thanks for your time!

i would upgrde your electrical either way but i would run the duel 2 if your only doing one sub that way you can wire your amp down to 1 ohm and get a good mono block amp that puts out around 1000 watts at 1 ohm like audioque 1200 or sundown 1500 or a rockford t1k or something like that

R.I.P '01 blazer you treated my ears well until your transmission blew up.

the dual 1 is actually going to run a load of 0.7ohms if wired with 1 amp and the dual 2 is going to be 1.4ohms if im not mistakin

Wrong, dual 1 can be wired to 1.4 or 0.35 ohm.(aka 2 or 0.5ohm)

Dual 2 can be wired to 2.8 ohms or 0.7 ohms.(aka 4ohm and 1ohm)

Thinking is the root of all problems...

You ALWAYS get what you pay for.

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.
