Alex K Posted April 29, 2010 Report Share Posted April 29, 2010 (edited) I did a stealth install under my driver chair with an Eclipse Ea4200 4 ch Amp from crutchfield. I thought it would be a great place because there's the foot AC tubes that shoot right out under there, and wallah; awesome cooling feature Anyway, I dont know why I guess I wasn't thinking or paying attention, but I hooked up my + wire to the ground on the amp, and the ground to the + input. And now my amp wont fire up. I fixed the problem, I have the amp grounded near the E Brake, on a bolt that holds the sheet metal down. I've tried a few diff grounds. I know it's getting the turn on lead because it's connected to my zx750.1 in the trunk and that's turning on. I don't know what else to do. I know it's still under warranty so I can send it back to CF. Any thoughts? Also, ive checked all fuese. Nothings blown. Car runs normal and other amp works.
