Not sure what exactly happened but I am sure he will have a talk with his people about how they run things. He seems like a nice enough guy, may just be isolated incident due to workers incopetence.

It looks like something was on the cone and I took 2 minuets and it ALL wiped right off, was even able to wipe it off with my fingers. Here is the photos: The photos he took must have been done with a HUGE flash, I tried my canon D30 and a smaller camera. You can barley see it in the photos I took today after taken 2 minuets to wipe it off. Then I said well let me test it for a little bit. So I hooked it up played fine, not a noise at all, not an issue at ALL functioning wise. So here is the video the lighting is not good over here close to my amp even with an extra light. But you get the point in the video and the video is uncut, this is after it played for about 2 hours!!! So being this was 2-3 months before we were ever contacted about the sub at ALL, it clearly works just fine, any thing that was on it wiped right off as seen in the photos. I am not sure when this was re-coned or who re-coned it before we got it but there is no issues with it. The solider is the the prettiest in the world but it also not an issue and you don't see it. Also with the rubber ring on it you don't see the little bit of glue on the out side of it and looks like any other FI sub. So I am going to think about it tonight to see what should be done about this situation as we were clearly not in the wrong here, had he taken two seconds to wipe it off it would have looked great!.!.! To me after rereading this thread it sounds like he lost his job and now does not have money because there is NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS SUB!.!.!

I responded back to give him a reasonable chance to honor his word. Here are the emails I got first the last email, and the one before. On his word I paid return shipping, and I have already traded the custom box to the builders for a used box and 4 earthquake subs so now I am even further over the barrel. Any input is welcome, I just want the freaking nightmare to end. BTW Brad, yeah I used a flash, everything black looks ok in the dark, kinda the point, the sub is UN presentable, cone off center, posts and tinsels goofed, be reasonable and honor your word, your the one who offered the refund. As for losing my job yes, I sure did good to see your a honorable guy who sees a single father as a "mark", I don;t have cash to waste as I said. I needed what was promised not a half beat dog of a sub, that WOW played when you powered it and didn't blow, your braver than me and the stereo shop. "Stan, I received the FI sub and tested it last night. I played it for 2 hours continuously and it works absolutely perfect. I made a video of it and posted it on the forum along with the photos I took of it after taking 2 seconds to wipe the cone off. There is absolutely nothing on the cone and the pics show that. The sub works perfectly, as I have said from the beginning. I never once said the sub was new and it was advertised as used. I can't tell what glue they used to re-cone the sub but it clearly does not affect the working condition of the sub, as shown in the video. Due to the fact that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the sub, it wiped clean with no effort and it was 2 months since it was shipped before you even contacted us, I can not issue a refund for it If you would like, you can have the sub shipped back to you, at your cost, as we did nothing wrong. We sold you a USED sub that works perfectly and needed to be wiped off. Had the sub not worked, the coil rubbed, the tensile slapped or the stuff on the cone had not wiped off with my finger, I would be happy to issue a full refund but all I see is a perfectly good sub that you simply want your money back for because you are tight on funds. I'm sorry about your situation but I did not rip you off and now everyone on the forum can see that themselves. I will keep the sub for 30 days, as required by law and if you do not pay to have it shipped back to you I will resell it at the end of that 30 days, which is June 23rd. Also, if you think the Orlando Police or Florida State Police are going to arrest me over a sub, you are sadly mistaken, it's a civil matter. Never buy car audio parts from bicycle repairmen? I mean, did you even look at their feedback? I'm sure it can't be at 100%. I always look for what that 1-2% is saying that got mad. You can usually tell if their displeasure was reasonable or not. Also, you might want to edit out some of the personal information and addresses and stuff I see here, I don't think you want that indexed and cached on google for the world to mine.

You must mean in the Chevy 2500HD 6.6l that pulls my custom 24' trailer with A/C and stereo in that photo not the bike as any bike with a "stereo" is just gay. Truck sounds great just did a 148.7 at 40hz this sunday on a TL with 2 sundown 1500's strapped at .5 each 1 ohm nominal before box rise with an IA DP 18" D2 with dual alts 250 amps each 6 runs of 1/0 and 4 batts. Hows that for a "bicycle" repair man... haha Like I said before I am not new to this. Ask the 100's of people we have sold very rare amps such as a PG Reactor brand new with flight case, tru c7 ( do you even know what tru is? ) tru H1 copper, Tru SH-1, PG team amps, tons of sundown amps, subs, along with fi subs never an issue like this guy never NOT once!!! Been doing this for years man, this guy changed his mind, lost his job, an idiot I don't know nor do I care after seeing this sub and testing it. I expected something super bad or like something actual was wrong with the sub, clearly this guy does not own a fucking rag as clearly everything wiped right off. wtf. I am done playing games on the forum, I hate this place as it is, to much nut hugging here for me.. Good by...
